Please allow me to introduce myself...
I'm James S. Scott owner of Scottario Music in Naples, Collier county Florida Servicing Collier, Lee, Hendry and Charlotte counties. I Build and repair guitars and bass. I've always tinkered with things including my guitars. From the start, I learned setup on fixed bridge and Fender style tremolo. I also hand drilled and chiseled Floyd Rose cavities and a couple of my guitars in my late teens.
I started playing around age 8 but I didn't get serious until my early teens. I tried starting several bands with no luck until my mid 20s. Some friends and I start a metal band calling it NEITHER. I also opened a publishing company/ recording studio where we released 1 single, 1 full length album and 1 EP. as well as recording several other local bands. I would also setup and fix the various instrument problems .
The studio lasted about 10 years, NEITHER continued several years after until my best friend and our front man, Steve Azeon past from a brain Tumor. We decided to not try to replace him.
Scottario Music begins
Jan. 2020 I started Scottario Music. Then the world shut down due to Covid 19. That time did allow me to design my three patent pending JS1, JS2 and JSV bodies. The ones I've built so far can be seen in the build gallery. I also started playing in a new band called Burned at the Stake where I am using my JS1 6 string and JSV 7 string. My JS2B 5 string bass is also being used as well as an other JS1 6 string. Videos and pictures are on Facebook and Instagram.
My shop
I hand build all my guitars. No CNC. I can custom make wood knobs, control covers, nuts, bridges and more. I can custom build any of my designs to order. You can also check for finished models in my store link. I can blue print and build a design idea of yours as well. Contact information is on the contact screen.
